Jack Colback insists no-one at Sunderland will be allowing panic to set in following an early season dip in form.
The Black Cats have picked up just one point from their opening two Premier League fixtures, with their last outing ending in a derby day defeat to local rivals Newcastle.
That result was followed by a Carling Cup humbling at the hands of Championship side Brighton.
Top flight new boys Swansea are next on the agenda for the Black Cats, and they are determined to avoid a hat-trick of defeats.
Colback is confident they can pick up a result against the Swans, with a recent wobble having done little to dent the confidence of those in Steve Bruce's camp.
The 21-year-old midfielder said: "I don't think people should be panicking.
"There's a bit of pressure on, but people have got to come out fighting and push on.
